Normally there are two ways to neuter your dog through the RSPCA at a reduced cost.  However, at this time we can only help with issuing a ‘money off at your vet’ voucher towards the cost of neutering.

Own Transport

SORRY, THIS OPTION CURRENTLY IS UNAVAILABLE.  We can help with voucher assistance.
You can get your dog neutered or spayed via this branch for £100. This is regardless of breed or sex. You must have your own transport and live in our branch area.

Conditions apply:

  1. Payment by cash or cheque only (no electronic payment available)
  2. Please make sure you can pop into us at Hyson Green Mon-Fri 9am to 4.30pm to pay or have a valid cheque book.
  3. No operation will be booked until payment is received.
  4. Maximum of 3 ops per household (if you have more than 3 pets, we can only do 3 animals per house)

PLEASE NOTE: This procedure is subsidised for a ROUTINE neuter/spay operation and initial painkiller.

You may incur further costs not included eg:

  1. Further pain relief should the vet feel it’s necessary (not needed for all pets).
  2. Buster collar.
  3. Special food.
  4. If your pet has a complication, including but not exclusive to pregnancy, hernia or retained testicle, you will have to pay the added cost direct to the vets.

Dog Neutering Vet Voucher

If you would like to use your own vet we can send you a voucher for £20 to be used as part of the payment for the operation. You will be required to provide the remainder of the payment directly to your vet.

  • Dog – £20 off the price at your vet
    NB Please check your chosen vet accepts our vouchers. It is their prerogative to decline them as part payment.

The only requirement to receive a voucher is that you live in our Branch Area. Once you have spoken to your vet about the operation, fill in the vet voucher form to request a voucher which will be sent in 3-5 working days. Give this voucher to your vet along with the remainder of the payment. Vouchers can be used at any vet excluding the PDSA and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, discount or charity voucher.

We will only send three vouchers per household. If you have more than one animal you want to neuter, please give us more details in the additional information box i.e. species, sex and age.

We have listed the most common species we are asked to contribute payment for neutering. However, if your vet is willing to neuter another small pet, we will assist with a voucher. You will be responsible for getting your animal to your vet and any additional charges incurred.
