Can you help?
We collect pet food all year round but Christmas has always been a time for a special appeal. Donations we are given at this time of year see us through well into Spring. It means our food store is full and so are rumbling tummies.
We’ve 2 collection points at Tesco Extra at Hucknall and Morrisons at Netherfield that us support all year. People are so generous and we appreciate every donation. If it’s something we can’t use for domestic pets, there’s wildlife who benefit for the gift.
You can donate at Tesco Hucknall or Morrisons Netherfield but you may want to set up your own collection at work, via a social group or at college or school.
We can provide you with posters to decorate your collection bin and we can collect by prior arrangement. Alternatively, you can drop donations off directly to RSPCA Radcliffe Animal Centre who are open every day, or here at Farrington Way (ring ahead first as we are closed office). Smaller donations can be handed into our charity shop on Nottingham Road, Eastwood.
As well as food, old towels, blankets and sheets are useful. Unfortunately we can’t accept duvets, quilts or pillows.
It is humbling to see how much support we receive. Donations of food mean essential funds are freed up to cover veterinary/boarding costs of animals in our care.
