We’ve been closed for 23 weeks but we’re ready to welcome you back!
We are thrilled to announce our Hyson Green charity shop will re-open on Tue 1st Sep 2020 at 10am.
We have revised opening hours of
10am to 4pm ~ Mon to Fri
10am to 2.00pm ~ Sat
Closed Sundays.
For regular customers, things will be a little different as in the ‘new normal’ but we will be glad to see you.
There are some changes we need to make you aware of
- If you have a donation for us, please ring 0115 7841110 or email before coming to the shop as we will not be able to accept your items without an appointment. Regulations mean we have had to completely re-organise how we take in donations from the public. Get in touch to arrange a drop off or collection time.
- We ask that customers wear face coverings when visiting our shop, observe social distancing and respect staff who are getting used to the changes too.
- Maximum of 4 customers (including children) in the shop at any one time.
- Hand sanitiser will be available.
The branch office staff have been working throughout lock down and have been beavering away getting everything in place to re-open. Our priority is safety of our staff and customers but as mentioned above, this is all new to us too! It’s one of the biggest challenges we have faced in recent years but we are looking forward to getting people safely through the door and raising money for local animals.
